This site is a Senior Project designed by Talin Dimitian, a 2008 graduate at the University of La Verne.

•To provide information about the Armenian Culture.
•To raise awareness about the Armenian Genocide.
•To spread this information to others.

Past Genocides need to be acknowledged in order to prevent future Genocides.
Many countries have not recognized the Armenian Genocide, including the United States, for many years. This is why Genocide that occurs today, like in Darfur and Cambodia, are not being controlled nor recognized as a problem. Help recognize
the Armenian Genocide to help stop future Genocides.

University of La Verne:

This site was created in order to promote and support the University's mission statement:

"The University promotes the goal of community within a context of diversity. The University, therefore, encourages students to understand and appreciate the diversity of cultures which exists locally, nationally, and internationally..."

I believe it is important to keep this goal alive and to further open the minds of students to cultures and religions they don't know of. Also, my goal is to make Armenian Students feel like they are part of this diversity and that they help shape the University along with all the other cultures it represents.
