International Week
November 13-17

The major activity was the International Festival. There were several booths which represented different countries, such as France, China, Spain, Taiwan, Japan, Sri Lanka, India, Cambodia, and more! Davenport provided Albanian food, which was the main focus of the event. During the week, Davenport also prepared meals from different countries.

Griffith Observatory
December 1

The observatory had been closed for about 4 years and recently opened. About 30 undergraduates and graduates attended the event. The museum was beautiful and there was a lot to see.

San Diego Trip
February 10


About 30 students attended this trip, both undergraduate and graduate students. The destination options were:

• San Diego Beach
  
• Sea World
• San Diego Zoo
  

The transportation cost was free, students were only responsible for paying for their entrance ticket if they were going to a theme park.

April Weldon's Going Away Party
March 8th

April Weldon is an active member in ISO. She will be going to Japan in on March 20th. In her honor we had a pizza party for he in the West Dinning Hall


Basketball Game
March 11th

A group of students from the ISO went to see that basketball game. It was the L.A. Lakers vs. the Dallas Mavericks. Tickets sold out fast and only a limited number of students were able to attend.
