I would be a friend. I would be those sunrays shown through the clouds when you are crying. I would be that rail that you hold on to catch you from falling. I would be that note sent that says, "I love you". I would be that funny commercial that makes you smile. I would be that yellow light in an intersection that waits that extra second for your car to go through. I would be that fence that holds the Rottweiler back from attacking you. I would be that flower growing out of the crack on the curb. I would be those flowers sent to your work on a random day, just because. I would be that "Hail Mary" completion in the end zone that makes the crowd go crazy. I would be the ice in your veins that allows you to sink a free-throw. I would be the last parking space in the lot. I would be that ice cold beer in the fridge after a long day of work. I would be that friendly last call of the day from a loved one.
